Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using the Lima App , you agree to be bound by this User Agreement . If you do not agree to the terms, you must discontinue use of the App.
1. Eligibility
To use the Lima App, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian. You must also provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
2. User Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Lima reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate this Agreement.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users of the Lima App are strictly prohibited from engaging in activities such as posting, listing, or selling items that are illegal, counterfeit, or violate intellectual property rights; engaging in fraudulent activities, including misrepresentation of products or services; using the platform to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content; interfering with the operation of the App or attempting to breach its security measures; harassing, threatening, or abusing other users; and using the platform for money laundering or other financial crimes. Lima reserves the right to investigate and take legal action against users who violate these prohibitions.
4. Use of the Platform
The Lima App is designed for advertising agricultural products, connecting farmers, suppliers, and buyers. You agree not to use the App for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
5. Listings and Transactions
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the products or services they list. Lima is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items sold on the platform. Payments and delivery arrangements are solely the responsibility of the buyer and seller.
6. Fees and Payments
Lima may charge fees for certain services, which will be disclosed before use. Users are responsible for any applicable taxes.
7. Intellectual Property
Lima retains ownership of all intellectual property related to the App, including trademarks and content. Users may not use, reproduce, or distribute Lima’s intellectual property without prior consent.
8. Privacy
Lima collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to such data collection and use.
9. Termination
Lima reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement. Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting customer support.
10. Limitation of Liability
Lima is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. Users agree to indemnify and hold Lima harmless against claims arising from their activities on the platform.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with Kenya laws. Users agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
12. Changes to Agreement
Lima may modify this Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
